
Sniff Dog Hotel Give Your Pup A Play Day
Sniff is a 10-year-old botique dog hotel with two locations in Portland, Oregon. In the course of their 10-year history, Sniff hasn't had to do much marketing. Welcome to 2020.
On the verge of layoffs, forced to shutter one of their locations, Sniff reached out to us to help get the word out on social that they are open and — with services like grooming, training, daycare and camps — offer so much more than just boarding.
We took to the social-sphere with a simple headline and illustration driven campaign to redefine “doggy daycare” as a “play day.” Even though we are a WFHing, Zoom-schooling, mask-wearing, social-distancing, sweat-pants-wearing bundle of nerves, our dogs shouldn’t have to adapt to our way of living. Sniff lets dogs be dogs, giving them the space and freedom to be themselves.
Our campaign accentuates Sniff’s quirky voice while differentiating them from their competition, who generally show the obligatory cute puppy pic + pun. The results? Sniff saw one of their most successful summers in 10 years.
